CNN says Biden, Buttigieg, Sanders, and Warren are the early leaders. No surprise there

IIRC, under 30 usually makes up like 18% of the electorate during a presidential election, so a 2% uptick would be good.

So I'm watching CNN, they talked to multiple voters whose second choices would def not be who you think. More than a few people that said Amy was their first choice, but then they'd choose between Warren or Yang, or Warren and Biden, or Warren and Sanders, or Sanders and Yang, etc.....def not what you expect for some peoples 2nd choices

My precinct seems pretty evenly split between Bernie, Pete, and Warren

Hard to tell tho cuz there’s like 500 of us crammed into a tiny Holiday Inn conference room. I see lots of Bernie attire in the sections for other candidates so he might have the edge.

CNN poll now says 68% have caucused before.

    ...that seems very high

  7. Sure, it’d be good, but it’s not a youth revolution of new voters that I want to see and have confidence in this primary and the general election.

Mike Love has been a prick and ruining the Beach Boys since Pet Sounds, who would think he'd still be doing that

  9. I ran my (very simple) model with 33% ‘new’ caucusers and still had Bernie winning.

(But I wanted a lot more because it would really help prove later states could unlock new voters and fuck Biden.)

    I'm talking myself into thinking we're gonna get a Bernie-Warren 1-2 finish.

I do think it's kinda lame that they changed the rules so that you're locked in after the first vote if your candidate meets the threshhold. Let the people move!
