Man United struggling to break down an organised block yet again. System just looks wrong. Fred covering huge ground on defensive transition, Martial trying to work across Wolves' backline by himself, FBs isolated when the ball goes wide.

I know Solksjaer's a bit stuck with the players he has available but there are too many players caught between two stools here. Got to find better solutions.

OGS moving James to RW now, Mata to 10, Fernandes deeper.

Watching Pereira try and play left wing was the most enjoyable thing about that game.

The system has been wrong for a long line time. Even with everyone healthy we struggle to break teams down. Our players seem to have no idea how to attack as a unit.

Regarding the full backs. It’s so fucking annoying. When one of our full backs tries to overlap, our player on the wing goes wide and they take up the same space. Every fucking time. In every fucking game.

Herthas transfer strategy is really worrying. For me, they appear like the next HSV, in that the expectations are way higher than a realistic evaluation of what the club should aim for. They splashed out so much money this window and it might fire back seriously.
And Klinsi as a coach is also quite questionable. I am obviously biased (loved him as a player, hated him as a coach) but it seems like he is repeating everything he has done in his time at Bayern. Either way, it will be interesting to see what happens with Hertha.

  8. Jesus Christ this is like the 4th or 5th time VAR has refused to give a red for one of our players getting his ankle stomped.

    Shocking challenge from Sterling there.

  10. They overturn that for penalty but Sterling doesn’t get a red????

Surely that's another penalty? From the angle I've seen anyways.

  15. How do you give a yellow to two random people when the entire teams were shoving?

And they say VAR doesn't improve the game. This is fantastic viewing!

  17. 3 VAR reviews, a longer injury stop, a fight and only 4 minutes added lol

  18. It’d be nice if Son wasn’t playing like shit

Spurs are feckingn awful. Lloris was miles off his line, should have been retaken. Both should have been penalties.

but yeah fucking hell how on earth VAR didn’t send off Sterling is fucking bizarre.

  20. So that 3 minutes between the foul and the VAR decision....did none of it count for anything? Like, if Spurs scored during that it’d be taken away. What about a red? Would that be taken away too?

    @fangclubb Prestigious

Yep. Goes back to the foul.

  22. Crazy lol

  23. I think it’d be worse if City had scored after the foul, it was taken away, then pen was saved.

  24. JM95

    hmmm

I don't think the Sterling challenge was red personally.

    Unreal City aren't ahead here.

How did City not score then?
