Honestly, I forgot they were on that tour. Would being the first of four bands on a tour that big rule them out, though? I honestly don't know.

Either way. Fine. I've edited my post. Fuck it.

Let's go full-steam ahead and push for a Dance Hall Crashers reunion.

Someone in a Facebook group tossed out for this years Vintage Fun slot (b-52s, blondie, village people, bill idol) could be The Go-Gos. they announced a short 11 date june/july tour with no chicago date. they would fit in nicely.

I couldn't get Detroit MCR tickets. Looks like I'm going to Riot fest.

I guess Converge is out, playing Kuma's Fest in June

  7. I don’t like Anthrax at all but that’s worth it for Converge and Russian Circles.

That's a short Go-Go's run that's primarily hitting smaller markets (and mostly along the two coasts). Wonder if they'll have a short fall run in September/October. They would fit that slot perfectly.

With the Psychedelic Furs announcing a new album, I'm hoping we get them and Madness for that new wave/slightly less fun but still vintage set.

I know everybody keeps focusing on the whole "screamo"/emo thing as far as who might get thrown on a stage with MCR but I'd really love it if they convinced Midtown to play.

The first time I saw My Chemical Romance was fall 2002 opening for Midtown, so I'd be all about that.

I don't think this rules them out. A band of Converge's size I don't think gets wrapped up in radius clauses the same way a headliner would.

Converge aren't exactly road dogs, though. For most bands that aren't super active/really "going for it," hitting up the same city twice in a six month time frame is rare.

Doesn't rule them out, but probably makes them highly unlikely. Especially since it's another decently-sized festival that caters toward their genre.

Looks like System of a Down, Korn, and Faith No More are all teasing an announcement of some sort on Monday. This might put some potentials to rest (or make them look even more likely).

I meant that to Facebook for giving me no credit, not you lol

even though, they probably came up with it on their own.. it's not exactly far fetched

    Fuck, that's a strong line-up!

Their Twitter was amazing this afternoon. I'm glad they're leaning into this. There's no way they didn't see a crazy spike in ticket sales after those shows sold out today...

Wonder if they'll talk about that in any of the press leading up to the festival. Curious to know about the numbers from that.

Love it. "The endangered list." My thinking is mostly that they'd have a new album out... But I think hitting Chicago in mid-August basically rules 'em out.

A DHC reunion would make my heart the happiest. They became active on social media over the last year, and Karina has been touring with NOFX, so part of me is thinking it's only a matter of time before something happens with them...

What I’m curious about is when one day tickets do go on sale will they be more expensive? Impossible to get? It will be interesting to see

What is the capacity of Riot Fest?

If the capacity is over 100,000 I just can’t see them selling that day out, unless the undercard was amazing too or they got other reunions that day too. Even 50,000 is a stretch.

    I believe about 30,000
