Twitter ratio'd him so hard the app actually came to life, came out of his phone screen, and injured his back to the point where he couldn't campaign anymore.

This is the future liberals want.

Just absolutely wild we're at "The President can try and use pressure on foreign countries to force them to announce sham investigations into his political rivals, but that's not impeachable"

Maybe it's just because I'm outside of the moment myself, but I feel like if I were Lisa Murkowski, at this point I'd HAVE to vote for witnesses just because I'd want to be part of the historic moment that sends the issue to the Chief Justice to decide.

I don’t know if witnesses make things better. Ending it now no witnesses definitely makes it feel like a sham trial and reflects on the Republicans poorly. Even if Bolton testified none of them would be moved, they’d likely vote to acquit anyway and say Bolton didn’t matter.

There’s really no way to win, just need To actually vote out all of these motherfuckers and start organizing to do that.

Country is fundamentally broken and one vote for witnesses won’t fix it.

Anyway, House should immediately get testimony from Bolton and run back another impeachment, just keep them coming.

The responses to that nasty last poll seem to indicate the pollster sucks, but

Pretty sure if this happens Trump will start trying to put people in jail.

Also what was Nancy thinking scheduling the SOTU this Tuesday? Right at the end of the impeachment trial and the day after Iowa. Let’s Trump steal back the spotlight from Dems

@Anthony_ and I were talking about this the other night. If it can't be bernie or warren, gun to your head, who is number three? I don't think either of us could definitively answer our own question haha

I do think Amy would be better than Pete. I feel like she can be convinced on backing more progressive policies than him.

If I had to choose someone to support other than Bernie or Warren, I would have to go with Yang or Steyer.

If he wasn't a billionaire, he would be my #3 as well. This is exactly what I said the other night. But he is a billionaire, so never.

  21. He is but his policies would arguably be more progressive than any of the remaining candidates so it counts for something

I completely agree, and I really like a lot of what he has said on the trail and in the debates, I just don't trust/will never trust a billionaire on anything.

So, I have a really nuanced take on this that I don't want to type out right now because i"m trying to eat lunch and get shit accomplished here at work, but my really short version is.

If I'm assuming policy will all look the same no matter what and just want electability: Probably Biden

If I'm assuming policy will all look the same BUT want someone I feel could probably be convinced to support/sign something a little more progressive than what they're currently running on: Probably Amy, maybe Pete

If I think there actually are one or two issues where the right candidate could make a huge difference on that specific issue, I might be willing to believe either Bloomberg or Steyer will be bulldogs on Climate Change action based on their rhetoric, and I could be convinced to be a one issue voter that way.
