Long shot, but anyone here have a presale code for The Strokes in LA in March?

I love Horrorscope so much. I was a member of their street team and they sent me a huge box of Horrorscope posters and flyers along with a shirt, which I still have most of. (Side note- my mom wouldn't let me wear the shirt to school because it said "Promise not to try not to fuck with your mind" on the back). I also got tickets and meet and greet passes when they came through a few months later. I was 14 years old and that was one of the biggest moments in my life at the time.

That said- the tour is coming through my area, but the closest show is a festival so it might not be a full album show. :(

Avail vs. Every Time I Die would be a hard choice for me.

 

I am looking at buying some tickets for 2 shows at Tinley Park and the prices are way higher than last year. It's now 125 dollars (without fees) for decent seats. Is this going on anywhere else?

 

Yeah, ever since Ticketmaster's demand-based pricing algorithm went into place it seems like lots of seats at LiveNation venues have $30+ price bumps on them.

 

I have a feeling this will flop hard in stadiums

 

Hoping to snag a Groupon to this if available.

 

Maybe I'm out of the loop, or maybe I was never in the loop, but I had no idea Justin Bieber was still popular enough to fill football stadiums...

 

IDK how to judge YouTube stats, but his newest video from three weeks ago has 123 million views.

Aftershock (huge rock festival in Sacramento) just posted MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT TOMORROW. Aftershock hasn't announced their lineup yet but announced Metallica is headlining Fri and Sunday months ago. I haven't seen anyone speculate it but I'm pretty sure certain that MCR will headline Sat based off the info from the MCR thread that dates are being announced tomorrow and Sacramento is one of the dates.
