I constantly hate that Virginia isn’t a diner state, but Richmond does have some amazing breakfast places and at least one that fills that need perfectly. Their pastrami Benedict is one of my favorite breakfasts in the world.

I definitely prefer local spots for breakfast as a lot have unique breakfast dishes. But if I’m dying of starvation and there’s a chain around I’ll just go there.

we should do a double date in Bethlehem, I know about this really awesome restaurant called Bolete, and there's this sick bar called The Bookstore we can grab drinks at.

 

yeah, we've become very big 'weeknight going-out-ers' especially when it comes to dinner. going out for drinks on a friday or saturday is usually fine but, if you want to remotely enjoy your experience and not feel completely rushed by the hundreds of people gathering in the small waiting area to be seated, weeknights are the only option.
