Apparently they can do much more than I thought, she said she would heat leftover pizza in there and it would be just as good as new lol

Makes me curious, let me know how you like it! I think hers was around $60 but they can get pricey.

We saw one in that price range on sale at Target the other day. Her family got hers at costco for around that price.

I’ve used my air fryer for chicken, potatoes, veggies, steak a few times. It’s also good for reheating certain foods like pizza, haha.

I made a wild mushroom & pork stock. Roasted wild mushrooms in soy sauce & canola oil. Saved some for the meal and put the rest in a pot with chicken stock, garlic, onion, and white miso. Then I roasted a bone-in pork shoulder that I glazed with soy sauce & honey. Let that rest, sliced it, and then collected all of the juices and added it to my mushroom stock.

There was a show on the food network where this truck would travel around the country and they would deep fry anything you brought. I barely watched it but I feel like the episode i watched they deep fried a boot

That sounds so divine!! I made homemade chicken stock yesterday using rotisserie chicken bones and now you have me wanting to make some ramen with it! How long did you cook the stock? I only have red miso right now but that's fine.

The stock cooked for about an hour, but the pork roasted for 3.5 hours and the mushrooms roasted for about 30 minutes. Homemade stock is so good. I wasn't sure what noodles to buy at the store, so I bought a package of Shin instant ramyun lol.

If you have an Asian market near you you can get fresh noodles easily. But shin ramyun is always a good choice and the noodles are better in that package than most honestly.

I've been curious about these... what's the advantage to using one of these versus just boiling some water, or even just heating up a mug of water in the microwave?

I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to preparing Asian food, so I was really impressed with how tasty the food was. This was a big step forward for me.

Last night I also made (the whole thing from scratch) an ahi tuna crudo with white miso dressing, pureed pineapple, crushed pineapple chunks, red chili oil, green onion, and cilantro. I need to work on the pictures to show you, haha.
