    I basically use meat replacements for everything now. For many recipes it works. There’s even this ground beef substitute here that is perfect for making burgers. To be fair this country has a lot of good meat substitute products, but I imagine the US does too. I basically only eat meat when I got out now.

    agreed. give me that beef. and if you wanna feel healthy when eating a burger, skip the bun. Ive been making bunless burgers recently (my wifes doing keto) and theyre actually awesome

    It's fun to do a bunless burger on keto, and something I did a lot of on keto was make bunless burgers but treat them like salisbury steaks with mushrooms, onions, bacon, lots of blue cheese crumbles, and a gravy made with the smallest amount of flour that I could. I kinda miss that as my fiance won't eat them now that we're off keto.

    Rosenfeld's off of route 1 in Rehoboth is a great lunch spot if you're looking for a good sandwich (reubens are killer).

    Salt Air is a great dinner spot right in the main area of Rehoboth that I recently tried. Its a nicer, more upscale type place with seafood and steaks.

    If you're looking for some good beer def try Dewey Beach Beer Co (right outside of Rehoboth) or Big Oyster (in Lewes, but not far from Rehoboth).

    If you visit one of those breweries and wake up hungover the next day you can't go wrong with Nicola's right off the main drag. They've got a stromboli called the Nicoboli and its sooo damn good.

    That's a great idea! We typically just eat the burger on top of a salad and make homemade dressing. Ill throw that idea out there. Hope she's game, cuz I know I am!

    went to the liquor store to buy a single lime. Ended up leaving with a 4 pack of allagash white and no lime because I forgot. GODDAMNIT WHY DO YOU ELUDE ME

    Yeah, I finally got an oven thermometer and had my oven set to 340, thinking oh I need 350 so that’ll make up for additional heat....and then found out my oven actually heats up to over 375 when set to 340.

    Cooking up a storm this weekend. Steak tartare & fish meuniere or bouillabaisse tonight. Tuna crudo & pork shoulder with mushrooms, barley, poached eggs, and hot sauce tomorrow.
