Evil dead remake and the Texas chainsaw remake with Jessica were so good. Fright night is one of my fave remakes also. And the hills have eyes.

 

Love the Fright Night remake.

 

Yeah, Fright Night gets overlooked I feel

 

Come on guys we can't be OK with the tcm remake. The original is literally one of the greatest movies of all time, certainly in horror at least

 

No denying that. But it wasn't bad like a lot of horror remakes. It was fun.

 

watched Darling this morning. can see how it's not for everyone but I loved it. Keating is doing amazing things

 

Rob Zombie's Halloween films are the best remakes

I go back and forth on liking the second one, but I enjoy the first remake quite a bit. Still like the theatrical cut better than the director's cut.

 

'In the Deep': The Weirdest Thing Just Happened With the Newest Shark Thriller Starring Mandy Moore - Bloody Disgusting!

Was supposed to go straight to DVD, now it's slated for theatrical release next year. Mandy Moore on a big screen is always good news to me.

Yeah, I didn't hear anything about that.

 

I didn't hear a lot, but it got reviewed on a podcast I like and discussed on here a bit. It's supposed to be pretty fun according to some

 

was pretty surprised by how much good stuff I heard about the Shallows, which I wasn't expecting. Still meaning to check it out

 

I heard almost exclusively mediocre things, haha

 

Listen to the Bloody Good Horror podcast on it! They said it's really dumb and falls apart with any thought but was still a fun watch.

It should be in dollar theaters soon, so I'll see it then

 

The Shallows is ranked in the middle of the horror movies I've seen this year. It's not amazing, but it doesn't try to be, and it's better than it should be. I thought it was a lot of fun, especially considering that I can't remember the last shark attack movie in recent memory that was good.

 

@Aaron Mook granted I may have taken anything above trashing it as glowing.

 

I didn't care for the Shallows but I'm not a big fan of that subgenre. Also i can't put into words how much I dislike the Halloween remakes like I legit can't talk about it lol

Zombie is great and the Halloween remakes are no different, though I prefer the first
