Yeah his shit in 2012 was great. But he definitely seems to have slowed down a lot in the last 4 years. I think health is getting to him bad.

I think he travels all year with his Clinton foundation and for various other speaking engagements. I remember hearing a podcast interview Neil DeGrasse Tyson did with him a while ago, and his voice sounded really gravelly/crackly. I think just work work work + getting older is starting to catch up with him

Tomorrow is Clinton, then Mothers of the Movement. Biden and Obama are both Wednesday. Tomorrow night is the official roll call vote too

  5. Anyone read anything on Michelle Obama ever wanting to run for office? I'd vote for her right now.

She definitely has the demeanor and intellect suitable for the White House. I could for sure see her running one day; wondering what she's going to do after the leave. Whatever it is, her running one day I would very much like to see.

I think after 8 years in the White House she has had her fill of national politics. She'll probably be really involved in community organization, but that's about it.

That didn't stop Illinois and Arkansas native Hillary Clinton from moving to New York and running for Senate ;-)

Are they expecting Bill to be some sort of unifier after the roll call vote???? I feel like tomorrow could get a little ugly.

I really really wish she gets involved in a senate or house race somewhere soon. I think the Obamas are settling in DC after this, but maybe they can move to Virginia and establish residency there....a certain senate seat may be opening up soon.

Back to the only thing the Obamas are qualified for: community organizing

Such a sad, hopeless state of affairs. I'll just put my head down and focus on my work and mention Jill Stein here and there and deal with the rebuke that I'm being irresponsible and I'm in a swing state and then November comes and whatever happens happens but either way I'll know I wasn't able to do enough to stop the complicit murder of palestinians and other tragic inevitabilities from our great democratic choices.

So is Sanders himself trying to get roll call votes tomorrow or that just his supporters?

    Be my alibi?

It's part of the process of making Hillary the nominee. A formality if anything.

Obama vs Clinton '08, at the 57 minute mark Clinton fully endorses Obama and calls for an end to the roll call vote, which makes you wonder with Sanders endorsing Clinton why he would be looking forward to people's roll call votes for him.

    Be my alibi?

Also holy shit deja vu - I found this while looking up some of the 2008 DNC stuff about how angry Clinton supporters were for losing and some very common themes 8 years later for a different candidate....

Why Clinton voters say they won’t support Obama

I don't think I saw anyone mention it but I could be wrong. Anyway, Michael Bloomberg is going to endorse Hillary tomorrow at the convention

I'm not digging it. Everyone keeps talking over each other. Brian Williams has had the best cable coverage over both conventions so far. Chris Mathews has been better than expected as well.
