the more i think about it, the more they’re probably my favorite band

 

Man Kill The Moonlight is soooo great.

 

probably the album i'm least familiar with

 

KTM, Girls Can Tell, and Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga are my favorite three.

 

Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga is prob my favourite but Hot Thoughts has some serious jams on it

 

Ga x5 is my favorite for sure

So dreamy. The song exploder they did is for that track. I can't imagine being in the studio as long as they were just searching for a snare sound. haha.

I think I'm a Ga x5 guy who wishes he was a Girls Can Tell guy.

 

Think I'm gonna try to pick this one up. I like the track list better than the first compilation.

Girls, Kill & Gimme are all superior to Ga IMO

& then Transference & They Want My Soul too

:P

 

I hear yea, but in my mind there's definitely a break between everything pre-Ga and post. And, if you agree to break their work into era's like that, Girls is my favorite of the first era.

Also that Sterogum article describes how I got into them and Girls perfectly. Picked up a used CD copy of it one day, left it in my car, and it just kept getting played randomly until i knew every second. It was my Spoon baptism. From there, I was into everything else.
