My sense is they were going to dock and shoot the episode while docked; not sure if they'll sitll use the ship as the official venue or if they'll have something on shore. I believe it'll be pre-taped Tuesday of next week.

That Nightmare Collective match was terrible. And Statlander and Shida are probably my two favorite women in AEW

 

The womens stuff is where the two companies could not be more different. NXT is gonna run a non-title feud with Kai/Nox, has Candice, Io, and a host of others biding their time, and can trot out Shayna to put anyone over they want prior to her main roster move (even if its little things lik Shotzi eliminating her). Even Belair/Rhea is gonna be pretty good, even if Im not high on Bianca.

Hopefully this new TV money lets them bring in some more talent on the womens side.

 

That’s why when all the Sasha stuff was going down I was confused when everyone was saying she should go to AEW. She can’t change it by herself. WWE, specifically NXT, has the best women’s division and it’s not close. Just my opinion of course

watching the shows now, and holy hell JR fuckin sucks. sounds like he spoiled the result of a match taped for Dark because he forgot it was not a part of Dynamite? lol

 

Now I know this site isn't as big on outlaw mudshows as I am, but GCW just put out a really cool promo for the Allie Kat/Nick Gage Texas street fight this Saturday.

 

Who is out there that AEW can pluck? Tessa but she's locked in and sucks. Who should they be gunning for?

 

Betting on him getting a commentary gig for AEW full time.

 

Kairi, Io, Allysin Kay, Kagetsu, Hazuki

I think Joshi is a great idea going forward. The problem is promo time. Putting the belt on Riho is a problem due to her English. You either need a manager or a translator. Either of those things could make her work. Pulling in Kairi or Io would be great because their English is good enough to get by.

Kagetsu and Hazuki have been really strong in Stardom. Them being ousted might give them a piece of humble pie and put them in a good place to make moves.

Allysin has been a champ in a lot of places and is a great worker.

Its so weird thinking about all of the ladies WWE scooped up. Makes it hard to come up with names lol

 

That was my issue. I have a hard time believing AEW is gonna snipe a lot of the top women talent from WWE so they need to be looking at ROH and TNA and indies and Japan and idk that market as well lol

Well, AEW's been signing people all of 2019, so, basically any woman that signed to NXT or Impact or ROH over them. Jordynne Grace signed to impact before they started, but she was in the battle royal and looked great with their booking. Kris Statlander was originally rumored to be NXT before they got her, so now imagine all the other NXT signings this year going that way.

Just going off their womens battle royal, they could have had Ivelisse, Tenille Dashwood, Mercedes Martinez, and it reminds me that they have some women they are doing nothing with (Leva Bates,
Bea Priestley, Allie is just a valet, etc)...instead of the Nightmare Collective.

Though with Statlander it at least feels like they are starting to find some footing and a better direction

 

I like Statlander and I like Hikaru. Would love to see Tenille Dashwood or Jordynne Grace in AEW.

 

Turns out betting on awesome kong for anything consistent was a bad idea
