He overbid on the showcase by like $100 so he lost everything. Pretty sure it was close enough that if he had guessed the other direction he would have won BOTH showcases and instead it was only defeat. That’s genuinely maybe my most remembered episode and when I realized it was him it blew my mind.

Yeah it was deep hurting. He had been really enthusiastic and sweet leading up to it too so you know everyone was rooting for him.

He walked by me on the street in NYC once, I wish I had told him how much that episode meant to me. Lol.

 

Haha I bet he would have loved that or been really weirded out by it. 50/50 shot.

 

Based on his personality I think he would have been into it in theory, but I was standing in a crowd waiting for a play and I don’t think he would have appreciated attention being drawn. I went for the, “I know who you are and I’m a big fan,” smile and nod, and he responded with a, “Thank you for not saying anything,” return smile and nod.
