Demmings was great during the hearings. Nadler is meh. Don't know enough about the rest. I think Lofgren is the one that invited Colbert to congress in the mid 2000s lol

 

Amash doesn't have any prosecution experience, which I think Pelosi said was a main consideration in her decision. Hence why Schiff is the Lead Manager (although I don't think there was any doubt he would be).

 

Ah true true. Yeah Schiff has been really good at this so makes sense he's leading.

 

Can't wait for the GOP to force a vote on calling Schiff as a witness while he's Lead Impeachment Manager

 

I keep always overthinking this but as much as it sucks, I feel like Warren or Sanders need to drop out in order for the other to win. If both stay in ... I feel like that splits those votes more than any other two candidates giving Biden an easier door to the nomination. And if Biden gets it, I think Trump will obliterate him.

I said it last night, but Biden has the vote of the older people who are already going out to vote because "it is my duty." For Biden/Warren, they have the young people vote. If Biden gets the nomination, I just fear a large number of them will not go and vote for Biden because 1. Biden has no momentum or excitement and 2. it will be another election their candidate didn't get in. 3. I feel like the younger you are the less of the "it is my civic duty to vote" in you. This opens an easy door for Trump and will piss me off so much.

All of this is just baseless speculation and assumptions of me spewing thoughts against a wall. Hoping someone can ease my stress and tell me I am wrong lol

The hashtag is, at its core, dumb because I’m obviously going to vote for Warren over Trump if she happened to become the nominee. #NeverWarrenInThePrimary doesn’t have the same ring to it I guess, though.

 

Uhh....I'm not trying to pick on Bernie voters here but there will be a LOT of Bernie voters who will absolutely withhold their votes from her, many of them citing this because she's not saying that Bernie's version is the true version of what was said.

The vitriol being spewed at her right now is v v bad

 

Eh, she deserves some vitriol for this tbh. I hope the optimists in here are right and this move backfires on her and helps Bernie. It was a pretty low thing to do to someone she insists is her “friend”, regardless of how much she wants to beat them in the primary.

But in that post I was speaking about my own personal thoughts on the hashtag, I get that many people won’t vote for her if she’s the nominee, thus helping Trump win.

 

Don’t think there’s a situation where Bernie voters will have to come around to Liz. These are just the death throes of a failed campaign.

Unless we can get proof she approved someone leaking this, I'd say the "blame" she's getting is misguided at best. But we're never going to know exactly what was said and how it was said, so it would really behoove both sides to just completely drop it and let it pass from the public discussion instead of spending all day tearing Warren or Bernie up on twitter. Warren fans aren't innocent in this either--I've seen more than a few talking about how they could never vote for Bernie. I do get the vibe that most of those were Hillarybots anyway but still.

The good news is, impeachment trial should suck alllllll the oxygen up in the next couple weeks so this story can fall to the wayside. The bad news is, Bernie and Warren will also both be absent from Iowa and there won't be as much in the news about Biden and such.
