Hiring DWS seems like such a bad move, they're just making it easier for trump

It's amazing how entitled Clinton must be to make these moves that are so boldly dismissive and disrespectful of voters. Hiring DWS just goes to show just how assured she is of victory over Trump.

I think ever since Obama's re-election, every established Democrat has told her she's a shoe-in to be the next president. Considering she's been in the game for so long, she feels entitled to the position. To her, Bernie was an unforeseen distraction and was surprised over his growing momentum. The problem is that the Democratic Party has been behind her back the entire time.

Usually, conservatives are the ones appealing to Cold War conspiracies to explain political events. It is strange to see liberals invoking Putin as some sort of puppet master that's using wikileaks to assist Trump's candidacy as a part of a broader plan to destroy America.

Latinx folks do not like racism. Also, remember when people were saying the DNC and Hillary were racist, and other people were like, "Nah."

It's funny because some of my friends were asking if I thought Hillary would compromise and ask Bernie to be her running mate. My response was to literally laugh in their faces, because Hillary is going to do NOTHING but give the middle finger to anyone who even thought of not voting for her. And here's the biggest one yet: Her hiring DWS to her campaign. It's like her team wouldn't let her come right out and say "Fuck you Bernie, and fuck you all of his supporters," but this gesture certainly gets her message across. I am as liberal as it gets, but it will be a cold day in hell before I give her my vote.

the earth is not a cold dead place.

After watching the shitshow that was the RNC, I was leaning more and more towards sucking it up and voting for Clinton. And of course, Clinton turns around and pulls this kind of shit.

    Is Donald Trump a Racist?

In 1991, a book by John O’Donnell, who had been president of the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, quoted Trump as criticizing a black accountant and saying: “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day. … I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It’s not anything they can control.”

The fact that Hillary has thanked Debbie for her strong leadership and is actually making her a part of her campaign and is going to work to get her re-elected is so stupid to me.

I was this close to making my decision to support Hillary and vote for her, and then she goes and picks a moderate dem as VP and makes someone who rigged the primaries a part of her campaign. She's not making this decision for me easy at all.

So Obama's half-brother endorsed Donald Trump?

Interesting. If the RNC has any sense, they'll use that.

Trump posted about it on facebook today. He said: "Wow, President Obama's brother, Malik, just announced that he is voting for me. Was probably treated badly by president-like everybody else!"

I like that he acknowledges that the only reason to vote for him is out of vengeance towards the Obama administration as opposed to, you know, supporting the Donald on merit.

“I feel like a Republican now because they don’t stand for same-sex marriage, and that appeals to me,” he said.

Obama believes strongly in the institution of marriage — so strongly that he has at least three current wives, although press reports have put the number as high as 12.

When asked by The Post how many wives and children he has, Obama demurred.

    “That’s personal,” he said.

Obama made headlines in 2011 when he married his third wife, who was still in her teens.

Remember how they said that Bernie's appeal to independents didn't matter because they hadn't gotten to know him yet, that independents don't like individuals with highly polarizing ideologies? Some how the left will be blamed for Hillary's failure, though. I know it!

Trump bounces into the lead - CNNPolitics.com

"The new findings mark Trump's best showing in a CNN/ORC Poll against Clinton since September 2015. Trump's new edge rests largely on increased support among independents, 43% of whom said that Trump's convention in Cleveland left them more likely to back him, while 41% were dissuaded. Pre-convention, independents split 34% Clinton to 31% Trump, with sizable numbers behind Johnson (22%) and Stein (10%). Now, 46% say they back Trump, 28% Clinton, 15% Johnson and 4% Stein."

Right. These past couple of days aren't going to help elevate the lack of trust in her, nor her handling of affairs. Plus, she's just a downright terrible candidate. It is not self-evident to most, as it is to others, that she is better than Trump and as long as she keeps on the path she's chosen, i.e., rewarding people like Debbie Wasserman Schultz and inviting Wall Street execs to the convention, it provides a line of attack for Trump that only makes him stronger. In other words, Trump can't win, but Hillary can lose and she's doing a good job of trying to so far.

I'm beginning to view Trump as a punishment to the political parties. People hate Republicans and they hate Democrats. They aren't voting for Trump because he's conservative, they're voting for him because he assaults the political elites. The fact that he's a fascist is overlooked/underestimated/neglected because voting for him is the only way that a lot of his supporters feel they can physically shake both parties.

I think you have hit on something that gets ignored a lot. Trump's popularity has nothing to do with policy. Why should it? We have learned over decades and decades of elections that a candidate's policy platform means next to nothing when they are elected into office.
