What an absolute joke

 

Joker leads the nominations. lmao

 

Zero nominations. Unbelievable, and yet completely believable. The academy sucks.

 

the more i am looking at it, the only ones that there were even credible chances of a nomination for were sandler (and gold derby still had him at 9th best odds today) and sound editing. nothing else really stood a shot.

 

The lack of nominations from a shitty awards show doesn’t erase how great the performance/movie is. Just rewatch this on Oscar night

A24 in general got snubbed. I think they got The Lighthouse for cinematography but that's it.

 

it isn’t getting “snubbed” if they never had a chance at most of the awards to begin with

the rider wasn’t snubbed last year from best picture, even though it was probably one of the three best movies last year, because 12 people saw it

Glad to see the academy confirm that this is a masterpiece

 

I feel like this has a decent chance at getting some recognition at the Independent Spirit Awards
