irl? (Do people still say "irl"?) She and I are still Facebook friends, and I'll still see posts of hers on Facebook occasionally and "like" them. She was my favorite of that era. She, and kearn1tm, who I was Facebook friends with, but then he seemingly vanished. I still see briewer posts in my Facebook feed, but all he posts about is Bernie and the conspiracies keeping him down, lol.

Don't really still have conversations with anyone from then anymore.

I had one, I'm pretty sure. Good times.

Ha, that's about right. I remember fighting with him and telling him he was an elitist, and then somehow we became AP.net friends. I even very briefly wrote for his now-nonexistent Sun on the Sand blog.

 

no not irl lol mutual internet friends i guess you'd say. some of her last posts were like right when I joined but I found them later digging through old politics forum threads and learned a bunch of cool stuff about radical poltiics

I like it here better than AP to be honest. There is zero drama here.....for the moment. I'm sure once we switch everyone over to this site, shit will hit the fan.

I don't think anyone's ever confused me as much as White. Not saying anything bad by that. Just always confused me haha.

I think this site has much clearer rules and since it's currently smaller + no commenting directly on news posts, it'll be easier to keep it on lockdown.

Yeah my main thing by that is I think he was the hardest to tell whether or not he was joking about something, so I could never read him well.
