Geralt has 50% less swords, Ciri looks nothing like Ciri, Yennefer looks just OK.

 

Cavil works for me. The others don't remind me of the characters at all, and hype is low, but at this point we'll just have to wait until release. Hoping it works!

 

In the books, Geralt doesn’t carry two swords on his person, only the sword he needs and the other sword stays with Roach.

Ok that looks really fun

 

This actually looks really fucking good.

 

The first half of the trailer made me think it was severely lacking monsters, but then that final shot....

 

I have a VERY good feeling about this

 

Looks pretty good

 

- Cavill looks great as Geralt, and has a pretty great Geralt voice.

- The quick cut of the Drowner, if that is what it was meant to be honestly looks poor.

- Still not sold on Yen for this

Wow, I got pretty into this when it came out on Switch and then did what I usually do and stopped playing about halfway through (awful habit). Picked it back up and just went through the battle with the wild hunt at Kaer Morhen and it completely blew me away and I am 110% back into this game and finally see why people hold it in such high regard.

 

The battle of kaer morhen is one of my favorite moments in a video game ever

 

Jers beat this, and then absolutely get Blood & Wine. One of the best dlcs I’ve ever played

 

I was gonna say the same but JUST played it so wasn't sure if its just recency bias haha

Yeah the switch version has all the DLC too! I'm confused how to get it started though, I think I just have to do a certain quest to get the DLC started? Should I finish the MSQ first??

 

Hearts of Stone is nothing to sneeze at too. It’s insane how good the DLC for this game is

 

HoS also great yes, but not as huge/expansive as B&W

 

Definitely beat the main game first before stating either expansion. I can’t remember what quests start the expansions, but you should also be high level before starting either.
