I'm crushed. This is so out of nowhere too! They were just posting a ton of stuff about a new album coming out and I assumed there would be some shows to come out of it...

Wow. Kim is a fucking legend. Best scream IN THE ENTIRE BUSINESSS for a band that never got the respect ot deserved. They and her deserved more.

I worried when I got into them in the 90's, I never would.

 

Rush was so hugely important to me as a kid. They opened so many doors for me musically. I got heavy into prog and metal because of them. So damn good

 

Neil. Man. This one truly stings. Rush has been hugely impactful in my life, between them always being one of my dads go-to bands, and my moms first concert (back in ‘79)... their music was always around in some capacity. I’ve watched that doc on Netflix more times than I can count! Perhaps as many times as I’ve watched “I Love You Man” and quoted “slappin da baaass” each time I hear “Limelight” or “Spirit of Radio.” Wish I had been able to see them live when they did the 2112 tour. Forever grateful we were alive to witness one of the true masters at work. RIP.
