IT Director Andy Muschietti Reportedly Working On A Remake Of THE HOWLING For Netflix

 

Picked up Trespassers and Depraved yesterday at Best Buy. Both blind buys, so I'm excited to check them out while I've got the day off tomorrow.

Anyone here see either?

I missed Cats in theaters haha. Don’t see myself rectifying that one haha

 

4 of the best theater experiences in recent memory.

 

So Dracula is pretty fun. The special effects are a little back and forth, some definitely showing budget constraints while others look fantastic. There is enough of the typical vampire lore to properly honor the source. There is a more than enough to subvert expectations as well. Some of the dialogue gets pretty tongue in cheek, borderline cheesy. Overall it’s worth a watch if you want to dedicate almost 5 hours to it.

Binged the whole thing last week. Super fucking creepy but very very good!

Saw Under the Skin for first time last night and i feel weird. Such a visceral film.

 

Finally got around to watching Hereditary last night, and Toni Collette, damn, great performance.

 

Saw Midsommar for the first time last week. Can't stop thinking about it.

 

I was really hoping Midsommar would get a nom for Costume, Cinematography, or Florence’s performance.

 

I don’t think they did any Oscar campaigning which matters just as much as the performances and filmmaking. The costume designer deserves a nod for the May queen dress alone
