Young rejected the contract extension and told Solskjaer he wants to leave this month. Somehow that’s worse than him signing the extension.

 

Spurs are apparently looking for a striker since Kane is out until April (we need a second striker anyways). Krzysztof Piatek is the name I'm seeing the most. Scored 30 goals last year for AC Milan. I'd be cool with it.

 

Makes sense. We need a replacement striker for when Kane inevitably gets hurt each season

Levy is such an enigma. He is one of the major reasons the club has transcended in recent years, but he is also one of the major reasons we still haven't won a damn trophy.

 

it's so god damn infuriating. like, it's so truly puzzling how he's run things and have had the success we had. if he just did a little bit more, I can't even imagine how good we could've been in those previous years/this year

 

Piatek was amazing for Genoa and very good for Milan for a while after signing but this season he has been utterly useless. If Spurs can get the old him it would be a good signing but that would be a big risk.

 

It probably won’t work out with how unlucky we’ve been with transfers lately. He’ll get hurt first game and never return to form

It was so weird in the summer. All summer the Portuguese press were saying he was coming to us but he obviously wasn’t and the English press from say 1 said no. Then Spurs actually came in, in the final days and couldn’t get it over the line. And now we apparently are in for him??? Just an odd situation all around.
