I've been getting more excited about this and that trailer looks super fun

Trailers looks eh. It still seems more like Harley Quinn: The Movie, opposed to Birds of Prey. I’ll still give it a shot, though.

 

I thought that at first but then noticed he crashed into Ace Chemicals. Either that’s just a little nod or could possibly lead into something else down the road? Who the fuck knows with Warner Bros...

 

It has less to do with the character itself. If there's any overlap between people who loved Joker and people who hated The Last Jedi, I want this to piss them off for being exactly the kind of movie that's not catered towards them.

This is screening two days before it opens. Not a great sign.

 

found that out as well. i remember seeing the fury road screening on a wednesday, but i can't really remember the last time a screening for a great film was the exact wednesday before its release, so i'll guess we'll see

 

"Mad Max" screened on a Tuesday here. Recently, "Underwater" screened on a Wednesday and that wasn't bad. But mostly, I take it as a sign they don't trust the word of mouth, which bums me out.

 

indeed. find it hard to believe that they had to make room for the lodge or whatever else is that week. and i believe friggin suicide squad was on a monday too. maybe wb's hedging their bets
