Haha well no them being the exception of course. I mainly meant the other 3 compared to most of the bands already announced. On this note though, I have actually never listened to Hot Water Music :/

 

I did not see KL hoping on but that’s super cool. I wonder how many more bands are going to be added

 

I feel like during a Q&A they said 83 bands total?

 

Would be killer for Chad to come out with Shai Hulud

 

I asked him if he would front the band and he said no...

But maybe if they happened to be at the same place!

 

yeah, I don't think he ever would, but it just seems strange for Shai and NFG to play the same fest and for him to not at least make a quick appearance. but NFG hasn't been added yet, and they kinda would seem out of place on this, but we'll see...

 

Heaven Shall Burn has a new double album coming out pretty soon... they're kinda from this era/ilk of bands

 

One of my favorite metalcore bands with that sound. That would be cool but they don't come to states ever!

 

This is the closest thing to Hellfest in 15 years

 

Also, isn't this event kind of religious. I don't know if Heaven Shall Burn would fit in! Lol

It's not. It just happens to have a lot of old Tooth and Nail/Solidstate bands.

Yeah Chad Johnson is definitely a christian dude but it doesn't seem like that was ever influencing Furnace Fest based on what I've seen and read about it when it was still happening. I never went though, so I'm not sure tbh.

 

They're teasing on social media and it's Wednesday so it looks like we'll get some announcements today. The ETIDiots have made their way onto the posts now with the recent tweets from the band.
