Just discovered Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth and am listening to Mecca And The Soul Brother...it's from 1992 lol. But this is the style of hip-hop I really really dig. Don't know how to describe it: maybe a bit more laid back/not as aggressive? Looking for other recommendations. I'm into certain stuff from Mos Def, Lupe Fiasco, Kid Cudi, and Oddisee.

 

Souls of Mischief and The Pharcyde would be up your alley probably.
