I think I might do another single-guitar cover. Even after simplifying the drum part, it didn't sound good when I played it, and I still don't know what to do with the violin part. I had a nice strum pattern planned for the guitar, but I'm having trouble getting back into it.

 

Decided to learn a song tonight. I think I'm going to send it in a little later. I wasn't really familiar with Yellowcard but I poked around a bit a few weeks ago when I was thinking of doing something and I'm excited to hear what people do with some of the songs I came across!

Fuck dude. It's 10:30 PM here. I've been at an amusement park all day playing Pokemon Go... literally only went on 1 ride and it SUCKED.

EDIT: But I did go up SIX LEVELS while I was there!!!

Also, I have a new respect for YC's post-OA material since we started working on this. I've learned a lot about recording and using technology to aid your vision... seriously can't wait to hear everyone's work and get to work on something new myself.

Hey we're the same level! I'm closer to Level 18, but we're the same!

I have 4KM to walk until four 5KM eggs hatch, and I still have only caught 3 Eevees. So annoying, pretty much everyone else I know has already evolved and got at least 2 of the 3 evolutions.

 

Dude, I've figured out the way to do it at BGW. Ride the air lift (gaining km) and when you land walk to the next one. Hit every stop and catch every Pokemon in between. Run Lucky Eggs, Insence and Lures (if BGW had followed through) and keep walking. After evolving (while eating lunch, still running lucky eggs) XP will shoot through the roof. I've never been happier to see so many Pidgey's and Weedle's in my life. Pokemon player since '98.

It's a great leveling destination and I caught 7-8 new breeds and hatched some high level shit. With the season passes I bought (good until the first week of Sept) I plan on visiting 3-4 more times just to play PoGO (and once just to enjoy the rides/shows).

 

I put down two lures and walked between them to hatch my eggs on Thursday night. It was an interesting venture. Ended up walking something 3.5KM in the end. Also managed to catch a CP1053 Slowbro and lots of Dratinis to evolve one into a Dragonair. It was great. I caught a Haunter at my work yesterday.

 

I went to my app store to download Pokemeon Go to see what the hype is all about, I typed in P and O and then immediately changed my mind, haha. I've never liked Pokemon... I think I was jusssst old enough to miss that train. My younger brother though was obsessed with it.

I almost missed the bus because my parents detest video games. Luckily my friends showed me the light.

 

Messaged my buddy today to make sure it got done. He said he was going to get it to me, but never did. I'm bummed....
