Mac Miller - Circles (January 17, 2020) Album

So, so happy this is finally coming out. I know I'm going to be a wreck when I listen to it but I also feel like it's going to provide a lot of closure, especially since it's going to be the music he wanted to release instead of just a compilation of random unused songs like most posthumous albums (though I honestly wouldn't be opposed to just ONE of these, with features from a ton of his friends, as long as it's billed as a compilation and not a studio album)

They have seriously been so classy about his passing, it really should be noted

 

Last time Jon Brion helped produce a hip hop album it resulted in probably one of the best hip hop albums of all time.

 

Swimming is very important to me, I am glad we are getting to hear this.

 

Ready as I’ll ever be.

 

I'm sure you know already but he was all over the production credits for Swimming too

Swimming is my favorite Mac project, so really excited to see where he was going with his career following that release. The whole Swimming in Circles concept sounds super intriguing.

 

I did not know that but it makes a ton of sense

Love this. I always felt like Devine Feminine and Swimming were the start of what Mac was building towards. Glad we'll be able to see what the next step in his evolution was.
