I think this album has got me back into him. Wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. The bonus tracks on the deluxe edition are great too.

 

Why the fuck is Slime Seasons 1-2 not on Spotify still!?

 

Pretty sure his team doesn’t have the licensing rights to a handful of the songs.

He’s too problematic for me to really ever check out a new project of his. Shame he used to be one of my fav artists in the genre.

 

Yea, was really starting to enjoy him before he started working with Chris Brown and being transphobic.

 

Slime Language 2 is alright so far, listening to it now. Handful of good ones so far but nothing that's blowing me away. It is nice to hear Thug rapping again since I skipped that Chris Brown tape.

 

God I can't stand Gunna

 

I usually don’t mind him but this was the first project he’s featured in where I wanted way less of him. Dude is just so mid, nothing exciting about what he’s doing at all, and it’s the same vibe with every verse.

Favorite songs on first impression are Diamonds Dancing, Paid the Fine, and the Cudi and Meek Mill feature tracks.

 

I like the joint with Uzi. It's so clear that it was just a Thugger-Uzi track and then they tacked the other YSL dude on for like 20 seconds at the end lol

 

Gunna is probably one of the best things about this project.

I used to like him way more. Now, I have Gunna fatigue.

 

This is cool and has its moments but Slime Language 1 was so much better
