Yeah I always think about what would happen if say, something with Paramore came to light - it would really destroy me. I could never untie myself from the memories of this band. But what I choose to do in the aftermath of that, with the information I now have, is entirely what it means to be accountable - to me it's a choice between living my values or simply speaking them at people.

I understand that we all draw our own lines and our processes for dealing with it are different, but it's the people who have this indignant attitude of "well I'm still gonna listen it doesn't effect me" that really get to me. Like half this site actively defending Blink/claiming to be "woke" but still putting them on their year end lists. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm always surprised by the amount of tattoos that are like super NSFW that people get - and not even on less visible parts of their body. No surprise it seems the artists who do a lot of anime-inspired works have them by the dozen.

On my days where I'm in the office, I jump in/out of conversations so I will miss posts and want to apologize retroactively and for any future instances that I miss something you post that gets ignored. never my intention!
