I don't know why I automatically assumed that Jake was referring to the band.

Yes the band. A lot of the bands that do this style atm kinda blur into one for me but these guys really stand out

Absolutely. There are lots of bands doing the OSDM with a tinge of hardcore mixed in, but Creeping Death definitely stand out. Gatecreeper and Power Trip are also in that vein and pretty solid too. But I assume if you know CD, then you know those two as well.

 

Yeah both those bands are great too

 

I've been to so many Power Trip shows on accident and idk if I've ever listened to a recording of theirs

Power Trip are that mf band, Nightmare Logic was my fav album of 2017

 

I feel most classic Metallica songs probably have a band named after them. Probs the biggest hardcore band out of Baltimore, Trapped Under Ice are named after the Metallica song

 

Not that I've ever really listened to Metallica, but I had no idea trapped under ice were named after one of their songs lol. And I love TUI
