I'm listening to Juice WRLD right now and he has some hits. So many lyrics about drugs and dying though. Really sad.

Man I was definitely feeling the Kenny/Greedo tape before, BUT I’ve been going back to it a lot. It honestly is so cohesive, and dare I say if I listened to it just a little bit more before I made my EOTY list it would’ve dethroned ZUU for me.

zuuu might be my favorite hip hop album from 2019 I can’t stop listening to it

 

I’ll stick to listening to Heems solo stuff and his stuff with Swet Shop Boys. Fuck Kool AD.

 

Ghostface is so fucking underrated in his consistency too. After I finished Common's stuff I've been going through GFK's solo catalogue and literally every album hits, and in different ways too, it's crazy. Equally good at hype/braggadocios tracks and storytelling, and his ear for production is phenomenal. Definitely my favorite Wu-Tang member I think

 

Purely in terms of rapping I don’t think he’s the best or most interesting Wu-Tang member, but he has the best discography. He’s one of my favorite rappers of all time for sure.

 

Yeah, I think best is Meth or INS, favorite is Ghost

Interestingly I don't really like Meth as a solo artist. Even Tical is kind of overrated imo, it's probably my least favorite out of that first wave of solo albums before Wu-Tang Forever

 

Uncontrolled Substance is so underrated

I think GZA is one of the most unique rappers

 

Yeah, I kind of struggled on where to put him because he's such a great lyricist and Liquid Swords is a masterpiece but the rest of his solo discography is too spotty imo

I looked at the 6/10 staff lists that were available to view and none of had NF listed. Must be that the others had it really high up on their lists.

 

Literally the only time I’ve ever seen NF talked about on here is when he’s ridiculed.

Clearly a lot of closeted Christian hip hop fans on here.
