That was great. Archer has progressed more than I ever thought he would.

So fucking happy to see Hiromu back in the ring. This is the match I'm looking forward to the most this weekend.

Man the last 3 matches have been nuts. The emotion in that match and selling by Naito were top notch.

  7. Okada might be the GOAT

Didn't wake up in time for Takahashi/Ospreay and Moxley/Archer so I'm gonna have to find those later

So I’m totally brand new to NJPW. I lined up all of these last night in prep for the weekend for WK14.

never going to back to watching WWE main roster stuff ever again. Just NXT and AEW. It was so cool to see basically all of the main roster of AEW in that 60 min time limit draw between Okada/Omega.

the closest thing I’ve seen to a storytelling payoff in any USA ran company is Gargano/Cole (the 2 out of 3 falls for the belt for Gargano), and maybe the Ciampa/Gargano/Black storyline from a couple years ago. But holy shit. NJPW, where have you been my whole life?

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Okada is the GOAT for me. Dude is unreal

Naito might finally get his moment tonight but uh I dunno I’ve been teased too long

I have no idea what the point of putting two belts on one guy is. The way NJPW books, it seems a bit odd. Why would anyone who pins the champ want to go for the IC title instead of HW?

stop being so close-minded, he's just listening to different opinions!!!

But holy shit why does he have to have such trash on his podcast. Those examples are enraging. "Why can people in the UK and South Africa see the sun at the same time" and the water one. How can you even just ignore gravity.

on a better note, WK was sick even though I was drifting in and out of sleep for most of it. It's disappointing that Kota didn't win. I feel like he would have had a better chance of winning if they weren't booking the double champ, because at this point it just feels like it's being done to further cement Okada as GOAT

So, they said on the WK broadcast this morning that they're doing a retirement ceremony for Liger, which is probably why the venue is a larger one.

i'm not bummed about Kota. he's only been commited to NJPW for a little bit. Okada and Naito have carried the modern era on their backs. they deserve it tenfold over someone like Ibushi, amazing as he is.
