Watching some on Moxley’s stuff in New Japan right now. Never really watched more than a match or two at a time of New Japan. Some observations so far:

    - I knew about the small tables but it’s never not weird to me

    - I’ve always heard about Korakuen Hall and imagined it would be much larger. Kind of just looks like a ballroom

    - it’s weird to me how the a lot of the merch fans have in the crowd is in English

    - never noticed how small the ring is and low to the ground

    - in the few matches that I’ve seen, it almost seems like a different company put these shows on? I don’t know how to explain it. But I’ve seen some Nakamura matches and some Elite and Bullet Club matches before and now these Moxley matches and outside of the logos, the production seems inconsistent? Maybe I just haven’t watched enough

    - blows my mind how wrestlers get around the language barrier and put on matches.

Stoked for Wrestle Kingdom! Gonna be a struggle staying up all night two nights in a row though. May have to space it out and watch over the weekend since its also Wild Card weekend.

So goddamned hyped for Wrestle Kingdom.

I think Hiromu's getting his JR title back, and as for the double title match - I think it's gonna be Okada/Naito, with Naito finally lifting his personal WK curse and being the first double champion.

Oh, also, there's a minor rumor going around about NJPW maybe ending up on DAZN? But I don't know if that would be Japan only, or worldwide, or what...

This might only be available to me because work's IP's aren't in this country, but it looks like ROH uploaded all of Final Battle to youtube.

I would stay up for WK if it weren't two nights

That would be pretty smart IMO if it's worldwide.

Maybe MLW too, they're hyping a big announcement/partnership soon.

As a huge Naito fan, I'm hoping that's the way it goes, but I honestly could see any of the 4 outcomes being a possibility. I feel like there aren't many absolute locks on either card this year. I think that's a really good thing. Going to be a blast to watch.

can't be made fun of Prestigious

Naito fans all deserve some kind of lifetime achievement award for their endless spring of optimism. i also think it will be Naito getting his moment, but Okada walking out of the first double Kingdom as the first Double Champion would also be such a solidifying moment i could easily see it as well

No NYD will be as good as Suzuki-Gun coming back and beating the shit out of everyone

Man forgot about NYD. I can actually watch that live since I'll be working overnight on Sunday. Gonna be a great 3 days. I think Ill try to nap as much as I can today so I can watch night one live. Night two might be a struggle, but if anything Ill watch it and NYD on Sunday at work. Sounds like a legit night at work lol

    No Fun. Not Ever.

Nick Gage vs Tessa Blanchard in a No DQ match is happening Saturday night and I'm pumped as fuck for it.

    Couldn't be more true.

I wonder if the added pressure of the larger arena for NYD means we're going to get something bigger, or if this is just sort of a one-time larger venue pick because of the Liger Farewell?

I don't think Liger is having a match at NYD, the change in venue is probably due to the popularity of the event and given the scale of the weekend, it probably warranted a venue change.

I just wish NJPW World was available on anything besides the Fire Stick. Gonna have to watch it on my Ipad because NJPW World doesnt work with Roku or PS4.
