don't usually do an end of the year thing but origami angel and long beard put out my two favorite albums this year. incredible artists.

 

It feels like the Long Beard album flew under the radar, which is a shame because it's incredible. It's in my top ten.

 

Man this thread just always delivers.

love 2020 but honestly think the split shin guard did with for your health last year has their superior songs

Lighthouse, by The Cast Before the Break

Cast before the break back with a new song - new album coming this year. Deep elm band and this song sounds more post rock than before. Almost sounds like Geoff from Thursday singing over an explosions song... (Almost!)

 

This Jail Socks EP is really growing on me. Kinda wrote it off after first listen but I added back to my library a month or so ago and have really enjoyed it the few times I've listened again since.

 

Shin Guard is lost on me. I only get 2007 metalcore vibes.

 

I love that violin-synth sound around 1:30~
