Yellowstone is a drama series that follows the Dutton family, led by patriarch John Dutton. The Duttons control the largest contiguous ranch in the U.S. and must contend with constant attacks by land developers, clashes with an Indian reservation, and conflict with America's first national park.

Just started watching this; amazing stuff. Scenery alone makes it worth a watch

 

Hyped for the season 3 premiere tonight.

 

Almost through season 1; unreal how much drama they try to pack into each episode. If I were John Dutton my heart would have exploded from all the stress

 

It’s one of the best shows on TV. I’m gonna wait a few more weeks before starting season 3.

 

I should start watching this.

Definitely feels like one of those shows that’s going to get a huge bump in popularity once it finally hits streaming.

 

Through episode 3 of season 2, and I'm already thinking it's stronger than season 1; character development seems more thought out in this season, or at least has more room to breath.

 

Man, by episode 6 the season takes a really dark turn

 

That scene in last night's episode 2 where Kayce and Monica start making out and gettin' it in that idyllic setting in the trees, while a wolf approaches and just watches.....

 

My favorite show in a very long time. Fucking love this.

 

It's a really fun show; just the right amount of excess family drama, beautiful cinematography, character development, and cowboy-ness. It's one the most popular shows on cable right now

 

Just watched the first episode last night and enjoyed it quite a bit. I guess I’m in?

 

Just starting Season 2. Not sure I’d say it’s “good” as much as it’s entertaining. Is it suppose to be a soap/intentionally over-the-top? Some of the writing is, shall we say, ridiculous. The punching sound effects are hilarious too.

 

Yep I think it's for sure supposed to be soapy/intentionally over the top. My Dad was a huge fan of the show Dallas way back in the 70's, and he likens Dallas to what you see in Yellowstone - just entertaining family drama, only this time it's set in the incredible landscapes of Montana. Especially the stuff regarding the casino moguls vs the Dutton family - just crazy, hahaha. It's just a fun watch without having to be too critical about it

 

That’s what I figured so I was taking it in stride and enjoying the ride. Just surprised since I wasn’t expecting that from Sheridan, haha.

 

Yeah usually he's gone for pretty lifelike stories and whatnot, so I'm guessing this show is his chance to do something a bit more entertaining. And it was the top watched show on cable during the third season, so he's doing something right, haha

 

might give this a try
