Easy to forget but Timmy was also in Interstellar

My first time seeing him was in Homeland. I think that was his breakout. He was good.

My first thought seeing him was "wow he looks like Casey Affleck" and then bam, that asshole shows up later.

 

David is probably my most trusted critic so even more excited now.

 

Apparently it starts 2/3 of the way through the book and is told largely in flashback.

This is absolutely lovely. Probably gonna be a hot take once other people see it, but the only person I didn’t love was Timothee Chalamet. He’s just a little too dead eyed compared to the rest of the cast.

Otherwise, this is lovely. The presentation of flashbacks to give more weight to the present tense of the characters is wonderful. And the use of color and natural light is perfect. It’s a really good movie.

I went to see this pretty early and they told me it wasn't working. Digital projection was supposed to fix that.

Oh this was so, so, so wonderful. Saoirse, Florence, Timmy and Dern are amazing, had no idea Bob Odenkirk was in this, so many tears throughout. Will definitely be a wonderful Christmas movie for years to come.
