I meant to brag about my 1100 point rocket league game the other day. That's the best I've ever done.

 

Is there a way to be good at Rocket League? It just feels like chaos every time I play.

 

I think so.

 

I am so confused during the entire match. Even touching the ball is a highlight for me.

 

I've gotten a lot better myself since switching from playing unranked regular (3v3) to ranked doubles (2v2). Lot less chaos in the games and definitely need to be a bit more tactical. Definitely stopped myself from just chasing the ball and hitting every shot I can, to choosing which shot will be better, when to pass, and positioning myself better both offensively and defensively.

 

Still absolutely suck at aerials though

 

LOL, sometimes it can be crazy especially when you play with a bunch of idiots that all just rush the ball the entire game. It can be frustrating.

 

You just described my strategy.

 

I'm pretty bad at defense but ever since I learned to be more patient and not rush the ball I've been getting a lot more goals/shots on goals.

 

If you watch the really good guys they almost never let the ball touch the ground. It's insane!

 

I bought a copy of Tak and the Power Of Juju for 3 bucks yesterday and let me tell you that game has not aged well

I like to play rocket league like I play NHL 16. I play defense until it's my time to shine and try and go for a killer goal. The problem being that I miss the killer goal and the other team scores so my teammates blame it on me.

 

Apparently there is going to be an "expansion" for rock band 4? Harmonix must be getting desperate for cash.

I haven't picked up 4 despite being a big fan of the rest of the series because it seemed so tossed together, an expansion doesn't change that view.

 

Just obtained all the achievements on #IDARB. All I can say is: WTF!? The game is purely to lift your gamer score and is pure trash. I spent more time actually scanning QR codes into the Kinect than I did playing it. .5/5

 

IDARB seemed fine as a party type game to me.

 

Of course they are :(

Harmonix probably aren't long for this world. :'(

 

The controls are terrible and there are far better party games out there. It's appeal lasted until the end of the first round. So roughly 1:30.

 

Posting this apropos of nothing 'cause it's fucking hilarious.

Playing RTTS in MLB 16 right now. I'm up to bat, I pop it up to deep right, the RF misses the ball, it hits him on the head, and he then gets taken out of the game 'cause he's experiencing concussion symptoms.

I've yet to stop laughing.
