Pretty much same for me. Tears, fun, and a Star Wars I loved.

I have seen this and I was pretty bummed by the majority of it. I had read the entire plot rundown months ago, and honestly liked how it sounded unlike most of the people that had been seeing the leaks. I figured there would be at least some things in between each bullet point of the rundown to help tie it all together, but nope, it was scene for scene almost exactly what was in the film. Maybe that's my fault for reading the leaks? Oh well. I'll see this again and hopefully enjoy it a little more.

And early on there were rumors that the fight where Kylo and Rey swap locations was going to see them transported to various locations from previous movies (Naboo and Bespin being ones I remember off the top of my head), and after seeing it I can't help but wish that's what they would have done.

  4. The transferring of the lightsaber and necklace was wacky shit. I get the water in TLJ but this was over the top imo.

This was p great. Def a lot of random issues. The transferring of the lightsaber in the force bond was so good

The intro jumps around too much, and there's some WAY TOO ON THE DAMN NOSE fan service. But on the whole? I enjoyed it. It's definitely the ROTJ of this trilogy.

The plot was a little bit of a mess but I really enjoyed this movie. The cinematography was insane, settings were gorgeous, and all of the actors‘ performances gave this so much heart.

I was mostly really enjoying the movie. The emperor stuff felt the weakest , and the climax just wasn’t satisfying. Kylo should have been the big bad.

Just got home from my viewing. I loved it, I’m so excited to see it again tomorrow.

I definitely shook my head at a few things, but the movie was beautiful and I had so much fun watching it, which was all I wanted

One thing I'm a bit confused about that I'd appreciate some thoughts on... After the fight on the death star does Rey say she didn't want to take his hand? Ben's hand? It seemed like in the fight she had a lot of chances to maybe cut his hand off but didn't? And then eventually lost the fight on purpose?

When he asked her to take his hand and join him. She said she wanted to take his hand, but she wanted to take Bens hand as opposed to Kylo Rens

Seen this, and I might've missed something, but was it explained where Maz got Luke's saber from? "A good question, for another time."

I don’t know how to feel about this. Leaving in just over an hour for screening #2.

some truly odd choices were made.

I wish Palpatine was not in this at all and the movie focused on the Rey vs Ren dynamic.
