I-Land could be worse tbf, first time I heard of that show was people here saying how bad it was so never even watched a second of it lol

 

Oh wait I forgot that’s a show and not a movie. Yeah it has to be lower than Daybreak, there’s just no way. Lol.

The atmosphere that show builds through music and scenery is incredible

 

No, but I’m not going to watch either to see which is worse, lol. I can’t imagine it has any worse lines than the ones I read from I-Land.

Yaaaaay!! I might need to do a rewatch soon. Thinking about everything I love in that show just makes me want to see it again.

damn older Disney was so ahead of its time. I can’t imagine them having anything like that nowadays but maybe I’m out of touch.

 

I haven’t watched much of their content since like the early 00s, but I did watch GMW and you could tell how incredible toned down and safe it was compared to BMW. I always wanted them to let the show grow and get into difficult topics as it went on, but instead they cancelled it...

 

I watched a fair amount up until like 3-4 years ago lmao (mostly bc of my dcom Twitter)
And yeah all of them were helllllla toned down. Some of them still tackled issues, like gmw, but yeah completely vanilla compared to bmw! And like sure bmw was on abc but tsr was on Disney

 

Yep, and Smart Guy covered so many heavy or at least meaningful topics while still being hilarious. I’m so happy to see how well it held up and so upset that it’s never been as acclaimed. Even just the fact that they cut an episode from D+ that I watched on Disney 20 years ago shows how far backwards they’ve gone.

 

Right! It’s wild. I think smart guy originally aired on the wb but it was absolutely played on Disney frequently for a long time

anyway I’m starting Ravens Home lol

 

Yeah it ran right after it ended and they were good about doing it in order. I watched it every single day, lol.

 

Trying Soundtrack today since Andrew McMahon is involved. The first few minutes aren’t grabbing me but the concept is intriguing enough to give it a shot. Even if it’s just for the score I’ll probably keep going.

 

I don't know if anyone else is a Genndy Tartakovsky fan, but his flew-under-the-radar/underappreciated-in-its-time Cartoon Network series, Sym-Bionic Titan has surprisingly dropped on Netflix.
