I’m not usually one to avoid all trailers and spoilers, but since this was such a twisty mystery and some people said they gave away too much in this case, I stayed away. I had NO idea he was doing an accent in this, so when he first spoke in the film I absolutely howled in the theater. It was incredible.

I actually kinda disagree with that first bit - worth checking the trailer just to see how they really cleverly misdirected us that we wouldn't know how Harlan died until the very end, and that Marta would be a secondary character instead of the main

I should check it out now! That was just based on some comments I read and I didn’t want to risk it. Marta being the main character surprised me enough just based on how it was billed.

Logan Lucky is a masterpiece and if you like Craig in this his Logan Lucky hillbilly convict explosives expert is right up your alley

pairing Marta with Blanc for the majority of the movie after showing us what Marta knew about Thrombey dying was just some genius-level scriptwriting

That’s been on my list since it came out, but I’ve always been on the fence since it’s basically a 50/50 mix of things I love and things I have zero interest in. I’ll have to finally pull the trigger since my opinion on him has changed so much and that probably tips the scale.

  10. Craig, driver, Tatum...such a good cast

When was the last time driver made a bad movie?

Probably would have to look back at some of his smaller earlier roles to find one. Almost everything he’s done has been passable at worst and more often than not incredible.

Channing Tatum is part of why I haven’t watched it though. Oops.

Ugh I completely forgot that existed. Talk about a squandered cast.

Daniel Craig would look like my favorite actor compared to Channing Tatum, lol. Soderbergh and Driver are two of my absolute favorites, but they had an uphill battle with that one.

2007-2010 Channing Tatum was nothing to me, but 21 Jump Street reminded me of the spark I loved in She's the Man, and Magic Mike XXL is my 4th favorite movie of the decade and won me over forever
