This album is ace. I found Invented a bit boring but I really like all the others I've heard so far, this is just the one that's standing out to me most so far other than CTL.

It was one of my favourites on the album but it still didn't really stand out to me that much compared to the others. As a disclaimer I've only listened to it once though and that album sounds like it could be a grower not a shower.

 

Zac was joking about ranking the title tracks in the first place. You can't even jokingly suggest ranking things or people will rank, haha.

 

I love how the song is so relaxing and calm. Then it explodes for a while but goes back to its original state. It's like love in a way. Overwhelming fluttering happiness that calms and resides. It's triumphant. It wonders, it realizes, it becomes at rest.

 

Lemme look through their albums, then I will.

I seriously am confused how "Clarity" the song ends up anywhere but last on title track rankings. It's a good song, but all of the others are hall of famers.

 

Did you at least like Heart is Hard To Find from Invented? That's my favorite JEW song, and also probably has the best production of any song ever.

 

that was one of my least favourites honestly. It was ok, I liked the music a lot more than the vocals/lyrics.

 

Damn it. Haha I also consider that Jim's best vocal performance. I really think that whole album is vocally Jim's best though. Ah well.

 

Clarity is a great song and I'd put it above one or two other title tracks.

 

Really? I thought it was really unimpressive vocally compared to the previous three. It just felt weaker in pretty much every way to me.

 

Ya Clarity's title track is among the best JEW songs

 

I just think you hear the most of Jim's range on Invented. I was actually unsure if I even liked Jim's voice until I heard the album. Haha Weird sometimes how completely opposite two people hear things.

That was really early on getting into the band. I didn't dislike them, just didn't know if I particularly liked them either until I listened to Invented. Haha
