Welp Bored to Death dropped to 92 on the Hot 100. Still #1 on the Alt chart though

 

i listened to the radio a LOT this week and didn't hear it played once. but before the album came out, i'd hear that song constantly on the radio. can't say i'm really surprised though. there's no need for anyone to listen to it on the radio if they have the cd now, right?

 

Oh wow I didnt even realize it cracked the Hot 100, that's awesome it peaked at 85!

So Travis apparently has food poisoning and has an IV bag attached to his cymbal stand. Hopefully doesn't affect the shows (especially Sat in Vegas for selfish reasons)

 

I think it was one of those Bellagio shows he played with 103 fever or something against doctors advice. I think Travis would have to have something amputated to not play and he's played without limbs before so even then.. Haha.

If I were the label, I'd tack on an EP as part of a deluxe edition of California. Nets more sales for the album plus more tracks that can be streamed.

Maybe it'll come out before the European tour.

I know Dumpweed comes up from time to time, and except for the rare occasion, it's good that people acknowledge some of the problems, and even Mark has changed lyrics. There's a reddit thread about the band's attitudes towards women and this gem is in there:
