For the record on the inside of the vinyl gatefold it says, "Thank you for checking out our most recent batch of songs that became this hodgepodge of an album."

Mine has problems too. Didn't think it was going to be that bad but man does it skip a lot.

Received my vinyl yesterday. It skips a ton but I've listened to it quite a few times this morning digitally and really enjoy this album. The back half is definitely stranger than the front half but a great listen all around. My favorite tracks right now are Bummin', Runnin', Air For Free, and Empty House. I'm sure those will change the more I listen.

At least on the leak, Marigold is 3:47 and there isn't the intro before it. Don't think it was on the Pandora stream either.

Anyone with the vinyl have an intro before Marigold? (if your record plays well enough to check that song)

No intro on the vinyl and on the digital download that came with it the song run time is 3:48.

Is there something about the intro that's really awesome? I haven't heard anything about it and havent seen it on any official tracklistings. I will say Marigold is one of my favorites on the album. When those high ahh ohh harmonies come in, chills.

I have no idea, I haven't heard it. I've just heard (and seen) that Jason's came with the intro and people are curious about it. Wonder why they cut it from the official release of the album but still sent it to at least one person.

Based on the live version I'm guessing it's just a piano intro with some "it's not sad anymore"'s and some "nothing but the sun in your eyes"'. I want it though.

    Favorite tracks:
    Bummin
    Man
    Flower
    Marigold

I like a lot more tracks than that, but these are the ones that essentially stop me from getting any work done while listening.

Can't get over my adoration of Local Construction to re-discover how much I loved the rest of the record. Good problems, I guess. This album being as good as it is is a lovely thing.

I'll be with you the whole way.

Loving Marigold so far. I didn't fall in love with the album immediately, but I'm gonna give it time, and time again.

After 20 or so listens, a few more thoughts:
    - I definitely put this above Five Scores, CL and S/T. But I also think it's now passed Mmhmm for me, or at least is neck and neck.

    - The only track at this point I don't not like is "Cat" would give it a 6/10, I think. It's grown on me a little last few listens so it may change, but yeah definitely my least favorite.

    - Heartache is easily top 3 closer for me. Maybe top 2. Love the song so much.

    - Local Construction is so damn good. Will end up as one of my favorites of theirs of all time.

    - The guitar work on this album is the best it's ever been. Hoopes did a wonderful job (and Matt T.) with his playing here.

I'm so glad the pauses are gone - they were way to long.

Also, AWESOME that this is #2 on iTunes overall and #1 on the alternative charts!

Minus "Prodigal," this album is something I am definitely into. Doesn't feel like 15 songs at all. Big fan of this, especially "Marigold," "Mountaintop," and "Runnin'".

I think my disappointment in not being able to get a CD on release day is going to ruin this album for me long term. Just feels like people like me, who don't pay for streaming (and when you do free you get 96-160kbps which is awful), and can't afford vinyl (or a lot just don't do it), it leaves out a good demographic of music fans. Like, I want to pay for this album, or at least hear it in decent quality but I can't. /Endrant

Is it really a huge deal to buy this one album on iTunes or Amazon MP3 and put it on your phone or burn it to a cd? I agree that the lack of a cd release is frustrating but it doesn't have to ruin the album for you.
