I have all of Community and Avatar TLA/LOK on dvd. Box sets are awesome and I hope they don’t go away but ya this new era will probably be the nail in the coffin.

something you don’t get with streaming services is bonus features. I own a lot of movies on dvd and I love watching movies with commentary on just because you can get some cool insights or just funny stories. Horror movies especially always have cool “making of” features.

Also I rewatch stuff like Golden Girls almost constantly because I’d rather throw on an episode I know while I cook or clean or work than put on music. Most of those comfort options are streaming but if they ever go away I need that physical backup.
