Sort of just stems from a dislike of either nuts/fruit in my dessert (though I have gotten better about this). I can't help it. The pie smells great and the crust is yummy, but i just can't enjoy it. I'd like to.

Yeah probably. One big hurdle is I tend to buy exactly what I need food-wise for each week and rarely have any bread leftover that could be used, meanwhile I always have waffle mix.
