Oh no you're fine - my post was meant to alleviate ChampsMusic's concerns about listening to Trio after having heard this album

Interesting podcast so far. Liking the discussions, Although Thomas' statements about California make me roll my eyes and got the WTF face. Entitled to his opinions though!

Yeah, I agree with the thought that this sounds like the bridge between TOYPAJ and Untitled, and I'm super excited to see where this lineup goes from here. I think they can only get better and I love this album already.

Nobody likes you when you're 23

I can hear a young voice on the "a a a she's an angel yeah" on Skibas verse from SOOHM. People say he's also part of the gang chorus from No future, but I can't tell. Someone should ask Mark

Even JT from Hawthorne Heights agrees.

You also recently supported Blink-182 on a handful of their recent shows. Do you prefer Skiba-182? What do you think of their new material?

JT Woodruff: Those shows were kind of a dream come true. Sort of like pop punk Christmas. I still have no idea how we got on them, but I am so happy that we did. Matt Skiba sounded great, and did an amazing job on the new record. Blink-182 treated us so well, that it was almost hard to believe. Their crew was so kind to us, and everyone seemed to be having the best time. I think their new album is one of their best. It is full of fun, summertime, pop punk. Everything about that band should be fun, and it seems that way again. I’ve always been a fan, and those shows reminded me of why.

(Also side note, say what you will about their music this dude always seems super nice and grateful in anything.))

Yes, I hear the young male vocals on the second pre-chorus in "She's Outta Her Mind." First time I noticed them I thought I was losing it. Then I looked at the linear notes and Jack Hoppus is on there. Will go back and listen to No Future to see if I can pick him out.

No idea. I don't follow the Foo Fighters much.

  22. Pretty sure I saw Doug doing guitar tech for The Offspring a few couple months ago.

Yesterday was my first amphitheater show (Brand New) in a GA pit and I guess I'm just unaccustomed but I didn't realize how close you really are. I could see the sweat off of Jesse Lacey's brow.

I'll be there again in two weeks for Blink and when I walked up it all kind of hit me at once.

"Travis and I did not want to cancel the shows - we’d already sold tickets - and we wanted to continue to play."

Not true. MusInk was announced last year as "blink-182 with Matt Skiba" before a single ticket was sold.

Listened to them after I read that a few days ago, I like.

And they're from a town that's half an hour away from me lol.
