I chuckled because I had a feeling he was dr.m since the beginning. Also, Remember in the flashback when the calvary broke in and she told Calvin to hide? She was defenseless, how else could she have survived? Not to mention Laurie being in love with him and constantly complimenting him to Angela. Makes me wonder if she's known the whole time since she said he was disguising himself as someone else in Tulsa. Plus, she's protected Angela even though she knew her secret.

This morning I woke up thinking "Veidt is the elephant!" with no other context. And also that he is Trieu's father

Are we sure veidt is on another planet and not in some kind of a dream state, retrieving his memories?

That's gonna end up being this show's David Burton or Tower Man or something where we never get an actual answer or we get an ambiguous one where its like 80% the answer but leaves just enough mystery to wonder

Veidt is Lube Man, he lives in the sewers and thinks the sewers are a palatial estate. His servants are rats. When he goes above ground he thinks he’s in space.

Wait, so this is potentially a one-off season? Why can’t we have nice things?!?

I'm wondering if the events of the finale will prevent another season from happening.

No Lindelof has said he would do more, he just wrote this season as a self-contained story.

I mean, I’d be fine with this being a one-off series. Not every show needs a sequel.

Not that this season necessarily will need a sequel, but if Lindelof has an idea that he feels like he needs to make, then I think a second season should happen. Honestly I'd appreciate it if more creators were given the kind of arrangement that FX has given to Noah Hawley or Donald Glover, or that HBO themselves have given to Larry David, and just have a standing greenlight for whenever they feel like they have an idea that's worth making into a new season of Fargo or Atlanta or Curb. Lindelof definitely deserves that kind of deal at this point. If a year or two after this wraps up he suddenly has inspiration for a second season, HBO should give him the money to make it. But yeah I'm 100% against forcing it if he doesn't have any ideas right now, especially since this season will have a definitive ending.

I most definitely want just one season of this. Feels like Lindelof caught lightning in a bottle with the real world climate, the storytelling devices, and the pacing of the season.

maybe another “season” but with totally different characters in a couple years. But I’m not begging for more. This needs be (and so far has been) an iconic standalone story.

I only want more if they feel like they can do more and they'll still be good but if not, oh well.

  21. Given the big season to season shifts in Leftovers, I could see him doing something similar.

I'm just saying that I'm not going to substitute my own thoughts for those of the guy who made the thing lol. If he feels like there's more story to tell in this version of the Watchmen world then I'm all for it. If not then that's fine too, we got a great miniseries out of it. He's clearly not going to do more unless he thinks it's worth it, otherwise he wouldn't have wrapped this season's story up at the end.

I will say "The Nun with the motherfuckin gun" is a great tagline, would watch.

I can’t believe those dumb ass theories about Cal being Manhattan were real. I don’t know how I feel about him coming back to earth and falling in love again either.

we’ll see. I trust Lindleoff but that reveal bummed me out.

also that was definitely Looking Glass in the back seat wearing a Calvary mask at the end, yeah?
