Yes you absolutely need to have a good amount of down time if you're doing like resurfacing.

Makes me wish I still worked at a school and got the school breaks off work so I had built in recovery time! I'm too vain to be walking around all scaley

I never had pimples before and now all of a sudden a few pimples popped up and I’m actually losing it.

Lately I have been shedding a lot more hair than I am okay with and I'm not really sure why (haven't changed my diet, not on medication, haven't styled it differently). The only thing I can think of is that I was in a car accident over the summer and have been extra stressed since then. I bought the SheaMoisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Masque from Ulta last week, so hopefully that helps with damage I might be doing from styling etc. But other than that, what else should I be doing?

So you likely have telogen effluvium related to the accident plus stress. Could take 3 to 6 months to stop shedding then another 3 to 6 months to regrow it.

Always want to make sure it's not related to a metabolic issue like anemia, low thyroid, or low vitamin d levels. Make sure you have a healthy diet. You may consider daily biotin which will make your current hair thicker. And a multivitamin daily wouldn't hurt.

Iirc you have really good skin but I don't know your baseline. Milder peels like a glycolic acid peel you can do on a Friday before a long weekend. Great for like old mild acne scars and blemishes.

My skin has been a bit of a mess since I switched birth controls. I think it may be settling out a bit finally (three months later!!!) But it's causing some scarring and my pores look ginormous. I just want bright healthy looking skin but lately it is all sad and acne filled. People keep commenting on my appearance and I'm like THATS JUST MY FACE RIGHT NOW OK!!!

Can a latex allergy/sensitivity make areas of your body irritated that doesn’t come in direct contact? Like latex exam gloves, not only do my hands itch, but my arms and my skin gets very dried out and break. Use lotion every day

It 100% can. It's known as an id reaction. Your body is sensitized the latex in one area and a totally distant body part will react despite not having any contact with the irritant. I see it all the time. Treatment is moisturizing and, if you have, a medium potency steroid ointment.

Lmaooo I'm sorry you're getting annoying comments.

Switching birth control is a mess but it's good your body is adjusting. 3 months is fairly quick.

So for scarring laser might be a good option but since pores are an issue too I would go with a light peel spaced maybe 2 months apart first.

I've noticed for a little bit now that I'm getting more tiny dark chin hairs than normal. It's really embarrassing. For about 2 years I get a full face wax every month, but when they raised the price, I stopped. From then on I started noticing the hairs. Not sure where it's coming from. I already am self conscious about everything and this adds to it. Anyone dealt with this before?

Ugh I have so many dark chin hairs. I pluck them currently but would definitely get them waxed or something if I had the money.

Yeah as I’ve gotten older I’ve gotten a few that like to keep popping up. I just pluck them

I know it's tough to do but laser hair removal works the best.

Ultas cyber Monday deals are kinda insane (practically everything half off) plus $10 off $50 coupon
So much of my everyday essentials are like $5. I’m living.

I just got like $400 worth of shit at Ulta for $2. Their rewards system is literally THE BEST. I've been hoarding my points for a couple years (lol) and had $250 to spend, plus everything was on sale, plus they sent me a 20% off coupon. Bless you Ulta!! Officially stocked up on essentials and also shit I do not need but fuck ittttt!!!

not only that but I spend $70 on my ulta credit card a few months ago and so that should be 140 points

anyway I just realized I just waited on hold for 30 min for like a $3 discount so UGH whatever I guess!!

I had like 1200 Ulta points and then used the coupon as well, got well over $100 worth for $20. Pretty happy with that!

I will usually wait until bonus points offers get sent to me and then shop at that time, so maybe once every two months I will reorder everything I need.

Yeah I don't even have the good beauty insider status with Sephora anymore because I have switched over to Ulta's reward system. I do wish Ulta had the free shipping subscription thing Sephora has

The flash shipping is honestly the #1 reason I always get stuff from Sephora. It’s just so convenient. The rogue reward of a $100 gift card is such crap. I finally got it in my cart and it didn’t work and there’s so many restrictions on it. You have to use the full amount or it disappears and you can’t return anything you buy using it.

Damn my Madre hooked it up for Christmas and got me a BUNCH of first aid beauty products I use regularly. Well over 100 dollars total, she is the real mvp.
