Bray and Braun just had the worst cage match I’ve ever seen lol.

Braun has def visibly deteriorated in a big way over the last two years, which is a bummer. feel like he's the anti-Luger of the 10's

 

kairi and asuka's new theme is straight trash

 

Everyone who has gotten new music in the last few months has been trash. No idea who is handling music right now with CFO$ gone, but it's abysmal. Bayley's new music sounds like Kane's music submerged under water.

Only person I can think of who has had a change in music that's actually good is Sasha, and that's really just a revamp of her old music with the Snoop verse from Mania thrown in instead.

 

Fiend theme is good but in think Bray outsourced that one again right?

Ah, forgot about the Fiend. Yes, that one is very good, but sounds like that was very much because Bray took the lead on getting it made

Survivor series helped a lot but yikes that’s not good. Doesn’t help that AEW put on a not so spectacular show this week

 

In my opinion that was kind of the whole point of SS. To give NXT more of the raw/sd viewers that never gave it a chance.

also, I’m sure both shows are gonna have a ton of peaks and valleys.

 

next week is gonna be really telling for AEW.

I believe someone pointed out a few weeks ago that AEW viewers are more likely to switch to NXT during commercial breaks than NXT viewers are to switch over to AEW. So with a very meh episode from AEW coupled with the holiday week its not too surprising. Hopefully they can bounce back next week.

 

So happy that the world gets to watch more Kris.

 

This seems to track nicely with what we know. AEW picked up a bunch of lapsed fans, and probably 1-200k of NXTs audience. When WWE has a big storyline involving NXT, some fans switch back over (see: last week), and during holidays or big events, AEW might struggle because their fans arent die-hard. Throw in AEW's audience being younger and probably being at the bar w/ friends on the night before Thanksgiving.
