Love the Solrock that uses Rock Polish and Cosmic Power 90% of the time.

 

It blows my mind that Hydro Pump Magikarp is somehow one of the better NPCs compared to that Solrock and Wobbuffet

 

Somehow Wobbs uses amnesia on the turns it should have use counter and vv. Its wrong 150% of the time.

 

I also wish the NPCs would at the very least bring a Pokemon somewhat neutral to the raid's STABs

Oh well

I just feel bad for the little kids who aren't allowed to go online and are expected to clear raids like that

 

Is it just me or have the AIs gotten slightly better lately? They're still dumb but they at least seem to survive a hit or two.

Omg i was so embarassed, when it's two types though which type do you focus on for weakness? Because I believe Whiscash was water and ground, so I picked electric because of the water but obvi the ground nullified it.

 

I'm just gonna learn from Dan's mistakes because I also don't know what to do when there are two-type pokes

 

Also I had just leveled up that Jolteon because I needed an electric high level pokemon and just threw on whatever abilities I had at my disposal and then had last resort as my 4th ability, fuck last resort

 

Both types take effect for weakness so if one type has an immunity that will apply regardless of the other type

Immunities won't offset with other vulnerabilities but resistances will

 

Ahhhh okay are there a ton of immunities? Not too many right?

 

Both the types stack so you have to take both into account. For example, Centiskorch is bug/ fire so using grass against it, which is weak to both fire and bug will do .25 damage rather than the usual .5 for not very effective moves. If you use fire against it, which is weak against fire but strong against bug will jut be regular effective and using rock which is super effective against bug and fire will be double super effective.

If you arent sure, just look the pokemon up on serebii.net to check exactly what moves will have what effect.

Ghost is immune to Fighting and Normal
Normal is immune to Ghost
Ground is immune to Electric
Flying and levitate Pokemon are immune to Ground
Fairy is immune to Dragon
Dark is immune to Psychic
Steel is immune to Poison

Yeah I believe so. Then you have the Pokémon that have abilities that make them gain HP instead of taking damage for certain types of moves.

Flash Fire (immune to Fire)
Levitate (immune to Ground)
Lightning Rod (immune to Electric)
Motor Drive (immune to Electric)
Sap Sipper (immune to Grass)
Storm Drain (immune to Water)
Volt Absorb (immune to Electric)
Water Absorb (immune to Water)
