This looks pretty great tbh. Really excited.

The beginning of that trailer with the “no no no no”. Classic Shia line.

  3. It looks interesting to say the least. Not sure if I'll end up liking it, but I'm intrigued for sure.

Big fan of Shia as an actor and I'm glad he seems to be getting his shit together.

Hedges sounded IDENTICAL to him when yelling "what am I being arrested for!?"

This was very, very good. Lucas Hedges is excellent as expected, but Noah Jupe is incredible. Highly recommend.

Seeing it this weekend. One of my most anticipated of the year. Been watching a lot of Shia interviews lately

as a member of shitty dads club, this one sure did hit close to home. idk if it works for everyone because the things he's doing are very specific and learned, and the ending its conventional at all; but i really loved it as cinema as self help.

  17. Damn, this was good. I loved all three of the central performances, but Noah Jupe's was the most surprising.

"The only thing my father gave me that was of any value to me is pain." is such a crushing line. A lot of crushing moments in this movie, actually.

    I really really loved this.

I liked that they didn't just make the dad a total piece of shit the entire time, the moments where he seems like an excited, proud and loving father before switching to an abusive dick so quickly worked really well. All the performances were great.
I'm rooting for Shia, he seems to be in a good place now and I hope he can stick with it.

Haven't seen this yet but agreed, his performance in Peanut Butter Falcon was great/wholesome especially considering working with an actor with down syndrome, and I've heard good things about this.
